Summary of October 2015 Board Meeting

Greetings from the JRCERT:

We hope that you and your families are enjoying the fall season. The crisp weather and spectacular fall
colors are making this a memorable time for us here in the Chicago area. The JRCERT recently held its
Fall Board of Directors meeting. The meeting was very busy and we would like to take the opportunity to
highlight some of the key elements of the meeting.

From January 1, 2015 to date, the Board has taken action on approximately 232 programs; following is a
breakdown:

Radiation Magnetic Medical
Radiography Therapy Resonance Dosimetry

The Directors also took action on 62 interim reports. The remaining accreditation actions were progress
reports and substantive changes.

Jason W. Stephenson, M.D. was elected as Director from nominees provided to the JRCERT by the
American College of Radiology. Dr. Stephenson will replace Darcy J. Wolfman, M.D., whose term will
expire at the conclusion of the April 2016 meeting. Beverly Felder, M.P.A. will replace Susan Hatfield,
Ph.D. as public member, whose term will expire at the conclusion of the April 2016 meeting.

The Board of Directors approved the timeline for a comprehensive revision of the Standards. The
timeline will be available on the JRCERT Web site in the near future.

Please be advised that there is a new Fee Schedule effective January 1, 2017 on the JRCERT Web site
under the Programs & Faculty tab.

The 2016 schedule for JRCERT Accreditation Seminars, Outcomes Assessment Workshops, and Site
Visitor Workshops is available on the JRCERT Web site under the Calendar tab. We look forward to

In an effort to provide our programs with information on assessment practices, resources, and tools to
support the assessment of student learning outcomes, we have established an Assessment Corner on our
