Board of Directors Meeting
April 2016
In an effort to make the accreditation process timelier, the JRCERT revised its procedures to allow the Board to
take accreditation actions on a monthly basis. From January 1, 2016 to date, the Board has taken action on
approximately 111 programs; following is a breakdown:

The Directors also took action on 12 interim reports. The remaining accreditation actions were progress reports
and substantive changes.

Other comments:
Beverly Felder, M.P.A. was elected as Public Director and was installed at the conclusion of the April 2016
meeting. Ms. Felder replaced Susan Hatfield, Ph.D. whose term was fulfilled at the April 2016 meeting. Ms.
Felder has recently retired from her position as Health Professions Retention Specialist at Elgin Community
College, Elgin, IL.
Jason W. Stephenson, M.D. was elected from nominees provided to the JRCERT by the American College of
Radiology (ACR) and was installed as Director at the conclusion of the April 2016 meeting. Dr. Stephenson
replaced Darcy J. Wolfman, M.D. whose term was fulfilled at the April 2016 meeting. Dr. Stephenson is
currently Assistant Professor, Associate Residency Program Director, and Director of Medical Student Education
at the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health - Madison.
Director Laura Borghardt, M.S., CMD, nominated by the American Association of Medical Dosimetrists, was
reappointed to an additional three-year term.
