Standard Four: Curriculum and Academic Practices

4.8 The program provides timely and supportive academic and clinical
advisement to students enrolled in the program.

Explanation:

Appropriate academic and clinical advisement promotes student achievement and professionalism.
Student advisement should be both formative and summative and must be shared with students in a
timely manner. Programs are encouraged to develop written advisement procedures.

• Describe procedures for student advisement.
• Provide sample records of student advisement.

• Interviews with faculty
