the profession evolves or as concerns are voiced.
Peer review is the cornerstone to programmatic
accreditation, and site visitors are vital to this process.

It is only through the work of these dedicated profes-
sionals that programmatic accreditation can occur with
the promotion of excellence in education with quality
and safety in patient care. The efforts JRCERT site visi-
tors exude are essential and cannot be underestimated.

Lisa F Schmidt, PhD, R.T.(R)(M), CRT(R), serves on the
JRCERT board of directors and is the radiography program
director for Pima Institute in Chula Vista, California.
Chad Hensley, MEd, R.T.(R)(MR), serves as secretary/
treasurer on the JRCERT board of directors and is the
radiography clinical coordinator for the University of
Nevada, Las Vegas.
